 I passed my comprehensive exams today, and I am now officially ABD!!!  Writing the exam last week was absolutely brutal.  Three hours seems like more than enough time to answer a single question, but it flies by unbelievably fast.  I felt disappointed with every single one of my answers.  But my committee loved them and thought I did a great job ( Read more... )

 I just got back from spending three glorious days in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.  I had sooooo much fun!!!  I got to see my family and my best friend and go to EVERY parade between Sunday and Tuesday!  I even managed to catch FOUR coconuts and a spear at Zulu!!!  I ate myself sick at my favorite seafood restaurants--I couldn't even finish my BBQ ( Read more... )
